About Us
Practical conservation, stronger communities and safer outcomes for people, wildlife and the environment.
Who we are
Conservation works better when people are part of the solution.
One Wildlife Preservation is a South African-based conservation organisation working throughout Southern Africa across practical conservation, emergency preparedness and community support.
Our focus is on clear procedures, training, coordination and field-ready support that can reduce panic, stress, injuries and avoidable loss.
That means supporting wildlife response while also strengthening the people and communities who live and work alongside wildlife.
Our work is rooted in South Africa and extends across Southern Africa, supporting conservation and community needs wherever practical collaboration can create safer outcomes.
Our approach
Three connected responsibilities.
Human Safety
Preparedness, training and practical systems that support safer outcomes for people.
Wildlife Safety
Field support, rescue coordination and prevention focused on reducing avoidable harm.
Environmental Preservation
Conservation, resilience and practical action that protect the places wildlife depends on.
Community + conservation
Conservation has to work for people too.
Wildlife protection is stronger when communities have practical knowledge, safer systems and more sustainable options.
Our community-facing work connects conservation with education, sanitation, sustainability, human-wildlife conflict mitigation and local skills.
